Using the LexRead app on iPad/Android tablet

 

Read online on PC/Mac

  • If the access for the institution is given through IP range, open the eBook site https://lexread.lexisnexis.com/

  • If the access for the institution is given through a common username login, go to the eBook site https://lexread.lexisnexis.com/ and login using the common username and password

  • Then, you will be redirected to the Bookshelf page where you will be able to view the subscribed eBooks under instiutitonal account.

  • Click on Read online link to read the eBook online on your computer.

Read offline on PC/Mac

  • Once you are logged in to the institution, click the subscribed eBook title from Bookshelf to get reading options.

  • Click on Read Offline button and the page will redirect to the download page as shown in the below screenshot.

  • Click on the button to download the iPublishCentral reader. Click on Install button to set up iPublishCentral reader on your computer.

  • Click on the button to download the eBook file (.ipef) onto your PC/Mac.

  • Open the file with iPublishCentral reader application to download.

  • Click on the cover to Read.

Steps to Download on Android Tablets

  • Download and install the LexRead Reader Android app from the Google Play Store.

  • The link is: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lexisnexis.lexread&hl=en

  • Open the eBook site using the default browser on your AndroidTablet.

  • Go to the Bookshelf Page and choose the eBook you wish to download.

  • Tap on the button  .

  • You will be redirected to the download page.

  • Tap on the button  .

  • Once the file is downloaded, open it with the LexRead app to read.

Steps to Download on iPad

  • Download and install the LexRead Reader iPad app from the Apple App Store.

  • The link is: https://itunes.apple.com/app/lexread/id1074376988?mt=8

  • Open the eBook site using the default browser on your iPad.

  • Go to the Bookshelf Page and choose the book you wish to download.

  • Click on the button 

  • You will be redirected to the download page.

  • Click on the button  .

  • Once the file is downloaded, open it with the LexRead app to read.
